Wonderful example of the product placement - The Kolynos brand is mentioned in a passage in The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger:
“ Everybody was asleep or out or home for the week end, and it was very, very quiet and depressing in the corridor. There was this empty box of Kolynos toothpaste outside Leahy and Hoffman's door, and while I walked down towards the stairs, I kept giving it a boot with this sheep-lined slipper I had on.

Inca Kola is a soft drink made in Peru . Launched in 1935, the cola has seen great success in Peru. It has consistently had higher sales then both Coca Cola and Pepsi, declaring itself the drink of Peru. During the 70s and 80s the drink often used the slogan "Made of National Flavor!"
